Dit is de oer-Nikon lens. Lange tijd werden Nikon spiegelreflexcamera’s standaard uitgeleverd met een 50 mm lens. Door de introductie van de digitale camera’s is deze lens een beetje naar de achtergrond geraakt (je moet nu 1,5 keer de 50 mm doen). Het is een goedkope lens (goede 100 euro), maar wel lichtsterk en ragscherp. Daarom er toch maar bijgekocht. Ik zie zeker mogelijkheden voor deze lens. Nadeel blijft wel zijn vast brandpunt. De lens wil ik gaan gebruiken voor portretten en ook wellicht voor macrowerk (in combinatie met een tussenring). Deze lens heb ik verkocht in november 2010 na mijn overstap op de Canon 5d ii. Nadat ik weer terug kwam bij Nikon in 2012 heb ik deze lens opnieuw aangeschaft.
Pluspunten:
– lichtgewicht, zeer lichtsterk, optisch top, zacht prijsje
Minpunten:
– AF (geen AFS), vast brandpunt
– voor landschapsfotografie niet heel nuttig. Snelle lenzen zijn minder van belang.

I certainly see potential for this lens. A disadvantage remains to be fixed focal point. I want to use the lens for portraits and also perhaps for macro work (in conjunction with a macro ring) . This lens I sold in November 2010 after my move to the Canon 5d II. After I got back to Nikon I bought this lens in 2012 .

– AF (no AFS), fixed focus
– for landscape photography not very useful; you do not need fast lenses.
