Nikon 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5G AFS DX
Deze lens werd lange tijd als standaard kitlens bij de D70 geleverd. Het is een fijne allroundlens, die voor de meeste situaties in het middengebied gebruikt kan worden. De 18mm als ondergrens is handig bij het fotograferen van landschappen. In veel testen komt deze lens naar voren als ‘veel waar voor je geld’. Deze lens heb ik gebruikt tot 1 september 2008. Door een val raakte hij defect en ik vond het niet meer de moeite waard om hem te repareren.
Pluspunten:
– redelijk snel, stille autofocus, breed standaard zoombereik, mooie heldere beelden, redelijk stevige constructie
Minpunten:
– behoorlijk last van flare (lichtinval bij tegenlicht die je ziet als lichte plekken), last van bollen bij 18 mm, niet extreem lichtsterk

– Reasonably fast, quiet autofocus, wide standard zoom, beautiful bright images, reasonably sturdy construction
negatives:
– Pretty suffer from flare (light to backlighting that you see as light spots), lot of barrel distortion at 18 mm, not extremely fast
